He's baaaaack! Today we were check out of the hospital and were able to get Jerry back to the rehab center. I know the hospital visit was a little scary, but it was just the thing Jerry needed to get rid of the pain. Over the course of the last few day he's been tested, checked out, prodded and even vaccuumed. We felt confident there wasn't anything he has that they didn't see. Once back at the rehab Jerry recieved an incredible welcome from residence and staff alike. He got settled in his bed just long enough to be welcomed by his physical therapyst. They took him and started working him out. Once done with that he was in high spirits and wanted us to find his wallet. Maryann asked "why do you need your wallet?" He replied, " I want Jon to go get me an ice cream"! He also wanted to read all of the cards that you've sent. He didn't want us to read them, but wanted to read them himself. Once of the cards he recieved was from some of the staff at his favorite bank, (Bank of the Cascades) He immedialty asked Maryann to grab his cell phone and called the bank. It was great, he spoke to one person and then another and another till he spoke with almost everyone there. This really put him in a great mood. Thanks!

It's good to hear that you are feeling better and getting back into the swing of things with your workouts.
The kids and Benito are getting ready for school here (Yeah for me!) Karmen is now a Junior in high school, can you believe it?! Next is the drivers license (lord help us all.)

This is great news! We are very glad to hear that you are really getting back to your old self Dad. Sounds like you are jumpin' right back into life we hope this is your greatest adventure this year. We look forward to seeing your progress when get up there next week. I'm lookin' forward to some quality time with you, I haven't had the chance to yet. Sure am sorry you had to go through all that crap - literally and figurativly - but you will do it and do it up right.
We have acquired a 3 week old orphan kitten that probably will have to travel with us to see you. If they will let us bring her in, we will.

Im glad your back... hospitals are no fun trust me im in one 5 days a week....but i would rather be on this end then the other....im sooooo proud of you it sounds like your doing awsome...Aaron and i sure do miss you and like i have said a million times we'll be back there soon for great big grandpa hugs and kiss's....love you tons and miss you more...

Hey grandpa it's gracie i 'm really sorry that you have to go through all of this stuff but your doing a rockin' job at it. i am very proud of you!
So i just put up my last signs around the building and ready for all the kids to come and move into the dorms. Man i have been so crazy latley i feel so exhausted. We've been doing training for two weeks and they've been really long days. Don't they know that i don't function until well after nine thirty? So in a couple hours i become and RA at sonoma state offically!!!
We went bowling as a staff and had a coustme competiton with the other staff's and we won we all dressed as crayons and our boss was our box . It was a lot of fun i was the yellow one like fireman outfits!!
Otheer then that i've been eating this nasty Caf. food and can't wait to make real food in my kitchen and i bet you feel the same way so keep doing everything like your doing now and maybe soon you will too.
I better get some sleep in .... I LOVE yoU!!!! gracie

Work is crazy busy... today I brought Bella to her first day back at pre-school and come to find out... it does not start until tomorrow. Boy, oh boy, was she mad at me. Also having car trouble and Rich has a migraine today. Just one of those days....
